Little Ella is our new breeding queen and at 6 months old she is already a stunner. Affectionate and playful she keeps us busy and entertained.

At her very first showing in 4 rings in the kitten section she won 1st in 1 ring and came 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the other 3 rings. She has a beautiful temperament and her standard is wonderful.

We are very proud of her and she looks like being a beautiful mother one day with delightful babies.

WNCA Double Grand Champion Holyoak Lady Tatyana

I had been researching the Russian Blue breed for quite some time before deciding to buy my first breed queen and Tatyana came into our life a small, slender 3 month old. We were so excited and I fell in love with her the moment I saw her at the airport.

We got her home and I was worried about how she would fit in as we had 2 domestics and also a litter of kittens from a stray we were looking after. We didn't need to worry.

Tatyana proved to be a quiet, curious, accepting young lady and quickly adapted into our home. She didn't seem fazed in the slightest by the other felines and merely ignored their hissing. This of course made my other kitties very confused as they had expected at least a fight back.

It took 3 days and it was as if she had always been a part of our lives. I loved watching Tatty and learning about her purrrsonality. She was very affectionate and loved being a part of what ever was going on. If I was on the PC she has to sit in my lap, If I was cooking she watched from a distance. At bed time we snuggled up together and her purrs sent me to sleep.

Never loud, Tatty does however, let you know when she wants something, She has certain meows for wanting food, cuddles or for me to get her toys. She has the most amazing green eyes, long slender body and a tail that never ends. One of her quirks is that she just loves fruit. From watermelon, rock melon, mangos (our favourite) and simply goes into heaven eating a grape. Yoghurt and cheese are also high on the list.

Tatyana has proved not only to be a fantastic show cat but also an incredible mother to her four litters of kittens.

Tatyana now resides at Holyoak Cattery in Western Australia

Bajimbi Diamond Jubilee

Even though Jubes was a show/breed quality kitten we originally bought Jubes as a pet. Peter had long admired the Burmese and had always commented on them at shows. I thought it would be great to have a little bundle of joy in our home that Pete could call his own. Indeed from the moment Jubes entered our lives she has been Pete's favourite. (shhhhh don't tell the others)

We decided to enter Jubes in a couple of shows, seeing as we were going to be there with Tatyana anyway, and we were surprised by how well she did. I spoke to Bambi and she agreed to me keeping Jubes as a breed queen much to my joy.

Jubes has subsequently produced two litters. All kittens went to excellent homes.

Diamond Jubilee is now retired from breeding.
